The WordPress community was pretty excited about Esperanza. Many online discussions centered around making Gutenberg the primary editor for their sites as it now offers the drag-and-drop option for block placement. Although Nelly Eggsy doesn’t use WordPress, it is still nice to see the exciting changes coming to that publishing platform. I used WordPress for years, and I still have WordPress-based websites, so I welcomed this update with open arms.
